After checking the website and a couple of wonderful emails it was time for the Taylor family to come down to the shelter and choose a new family member.

This is just a quick email to let you know that we visited your SPCA
and walked away with a gorgeous wee kitten ('Demi', number 222).
There was a lovely lady that served us. She was incredibly helpful and friendly. She knew we wanted an extroverted kitten with lots of personality
(we have 3 kids under 6!...and a lab....and another kitten) and she certainly pointed us in the right direction. We have renamed Demi "Sophie"
and she is a wonderful wee sister for "Lucy" (which we got 2 weeks ago).
Our two previous cats unfortunately died before Xmas after long and lovely lives and the emptiness has been filled by these two adorable rascals!
I'm glad to report that the two of them were playing within an hour or so,
and Sophie simply glances at our Lab and cruises past him
(as he tries to lick her!). Sophie has been very low-key, low-stress and
low-maintenance (just what we wanted) and has settled in fine.
I have attached a photo of her fast asleep in bed with our daughters just 2 hours after getting her. The second photo is of her on the bed next to our vicious and 'cat-hungry' 8 year old Lab....best of mates already!
Just thought I'd send you a quick email to let you know that you have successfully re-homed another gorgeous animal.
