When Mandy first came into our care her name was Pixie and she was a tiny four month old. She was removed from her home when her owners were unable to feed her and when we got her she had been without food for almost a week.
 Pixie was tiny, the smallest of 4 puppies we removed that day and we were very worried about her size and condition.
With no record of what breed she might be we advertised her for adoption as a Labrador X and were pretty sure due to the rough start in life Mandy would remain a smallish dog.
 But as you can see from the photos with the right food and attention she has blossomed into a rather large girl. Mandy is a really lovely dog and her owners love her to bits.
