HIya
Thought I would let you know how Honey is settling
in.
She has already been out visiting with
me 3 times and is a big hit with the children. She
is so good she is not demanding of attention when
out and about but does get upset when I leave her at
night in her run. In the truck she immediately
settles down and is fantastic company.
We are continuing with basic commands and she is
doing well and starting to do a
'desensitisation' to the chooks which are the
biggest problem - she did well yesterday with me on
the porch. I held her on the leash and kept
rewarding her when she sat and paid attention to me
or the chickens quietly instead of reacting
to the chooks running around. I think she will do
really well.
She tried chasing a goat yesterday so we need to stay
on top of that.
We also went to the beach which she loved - I am
keeping her on leash till I have good command of her
vocally.
Thanks so much for letting me bring her home she is
just gorgeous.
