Henry was
surrendered to us when his owners had to move and were unable to
take him with them. He was such a lovely dog but because of his
enormous size and over exuberant nature we were very concerned that
he may never find a suitable owner. But we were more than happy to
be proved wrong in this and as you can see from the photo and read
in the letter Henry has
found just the right people and place in life.
Hi team,
Just thought I'd give you an update on the big guy...Henry!
As you can see from the photo he's settled in well with the other
critters, its amazing how quickly dogs adapt to life indoors and
come to realise
the purpose of a pillow!
Although my partner and I do struggle to fit on the bed alongside the
dogs, cats and birds we wouldn't have it any other way!
I'm sure I heard an audible sigh of relief when I drove away with
Henry, and it didn't take long to figure out why.
He had had little to no obedience training, "sit was it!" and he is
possibly the tallest, clumsiest most dopey looking dog ever with his
sideways run and his giant flapping lips!
Now he is sitting, lying, staying, not jumping up on people, waiting
for his food, walking well on the leash, coming back when let off
the
leash! and he knows the difference between cuddles and
wrestling!!!!....he is also the sweetest, cutest and still clumsiest
dog ever, and we love him to bits.
Thanks again
