Dillan's owners were going overseas and regrettably couldn't take him with them. So Dillan was bought to us in the hope that we could find him a new home. Dillan was photographed and put on the website the day he arrived at the shelter and the following day we received the first of many emails from a family in Auckland who knew they were just the right family for Dillan.
After a bit of organisation and a few more emails one of our Volunteers decided a trip to Taupo wasn't to much to ask if it meant Dillan was going to get the kind of family he deserved.

 

Dillan has settled in very well, the kids love him and Tina and he are
inseparable. He is being very spoilt and has become one of the family.
