Shy as she was known was removed from her first owner by the Feilding SPCA. Her story was just one of the many heart breaking tales we deal with each year. Shy had been kept on a meter length of chain tied to the clothes line. She had no shelter at all and although she did have water it was well out of her reach. Shy was very thin and had to be put on a special diet to slowly increased her weight, but then along came Chris. She took one look at Shy and it was love at first sight. Shy became Cassie and as you can see from the photo has now more than doubled her weight.  With lots of love and a regular supply of food she has grown into a lovely girl who could not have found a better home.
